FACC AG is a large enterprise with more than 3000 employees and the leading Austrian company in the design, manufacture and service of advanced composite products for the aerospace industry. FACC was founded in 1989 and has its headquarter in Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria. FACC’s major products are structural components and interiors for commercial aircrafts. It operates in three divisions: Aerostructures, Engines & Nacelles, and Interiors. The Aerostructures develops, produces, and sells components for control surfaces, fairings, and wing components for commercial airplanes. Its products include: ailerons, bonded panels, bottom panels, elevators, flaps, flap ribs, flap track fairings, leading edges, radomes, ribs, rudders, spars, spoilers, top panels, wing fixed leading edges, winglets, wing panels, and wing-to-body fairings. The Engines & Nacelles division develops, produces, and sells composite components and assemblies for civil aircraft engines and nacelles. Its products include: acoustic liners, bifurcation fairings, bypass ducts, core fairings, fan track liners, front acoustic panels, nose spinners, and annulus fillers; and nacelle products comprise blocker doors, fan cowls, inlet outer barrels, rear secondary structure or pylon fairings, and translating sleeves. The Interiors division offers cabin interiors components and complete cabin interiors for commercial aircraft, business jets, freighters, and helicopters. This division provides cockpit linings, entrance area and aft area linings, main cabins, monuments, and cargo compartment linings. Most of the parts are made of sandwich construction according to the latest technology and highest quality standards. Some of FACC partners are: ACAC, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier Aerospace, Diehl, EADS, Embraer, Eurocopter, General Electric, Lufthansa Technik, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Safran, Sukhoi, Siemens, Triumph Group, UTC Aerospace Systems, and UAC. About 99 % of the products of FACC are exported.

 

ZIZALA Lichtsysteme GmbH, ZKW Group

The ZKW Group is a large enterprise with 5000 employees and designs, produces, and supplies light systems for the automotive industry in global markets. The company was founded in 1938 and has its headquarter in Wieselburg, Lower Austria. The ZKW Group has a total of eight locations, including sites in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, China, and India, as well as new locations in Mexico and the USA. The company’s products include LED and xenon headlights, fog lamps, additional lights, signal lights, front, rear, and interior lights, luminos, realization technologies, and light technologies for cars and trucks, as well as specific solutions for two-wheelers. It also provides aftersales services. ZKW operates innovative, competent development centers and flexible, efficient production sites near its customers. The main costumers of ZKW are: AUDI, BMW, Ford, General Motors, Jaguar Land Rover, MAN, Mercedes Benz, Opel, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Scania, Skoda, Volvo Car, Volvo Truck, and VW. About 99 % of the ZKW products are exported.
