Extended Abstract for Review
- Use the following template: abstract-author-title.docx / LaTex template
- The paper size is A4.
- The extended abstract should contain a maximum of 2 pages and will be provided in a book of abstracts during the conference to the participants.
- Structure the contribution into the chapters or only use the abstract paragraph.
- Selected authors will be notified after a review of this extended abstracts by the program commitee and may choose between the iCT and the Journal Paper track.
- The document must be uploaded as PDF file.
- For the abstract submission you must name the person who will be presenting the contribution at the conference. This name will be included in the Conference Programme Folder. Changes can only be considered on the conference website.

Journal Paper - Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation (NDTE) - NDTE reviewer will review this submission, which then will be part of a Special Issue of the conference. |

We ask Poster Presenters to prepare your poster with the program of your choice (PowerPoint is one option), convert it into a .pdf and upload the file until 26th January 2022 via this link: https://filebox.fhooecloud.at/index.php/s/i5g9QCxcj3SeWjs
The posters will be published on the conference website. Additionally there will be a separate Microsoft® TEAMS meeting where poster presenters will be able to answer questions about their poster.
Poster requirements
- Maximum file Size: 10 MB
- Resolution: 300 dpi
- A4 portrait size preferred
- .pdf file
- Upload your poster using your last name as filename: ict2022-poster-lastname.pdf

Step-by-step procedure
- As a first step, all authors should prepare their presentations.
- Authors should record the video presentation of their paper (with audio narration) according to the guidelines here provided.
- Authors should upload the recorded video until 26th January 2022 via the following link:

At the conference, the uploaded videos will be shown and authors (except those of Short Talks) will have the possibility to answer the questions live via Microsoft® TEAMS
- Keynotes: 25 minutes + 5 minutes discussion
- Talks: 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion
- Short Talks: 5 minutes
- Talks by Gold-Sponsors: 10 minutes + 5 minutes discussion
- Talks by Silver-Sponsors: 6 minutes + 3 minutes discussion
Video requirements
- Maximum Video Duration:
- Keynotes: 25 minutes
- Talks: 15 minutes
- Short Talks: 5 minutes
- Talks by Gold-Sponsors: 10 minutes
- Talks by Silver-Sponsors: 6 minutes
- Maximum Video Size: 500 MB
- Video in mp4 encoding
- 16:9 format preferred, as this fits best to the stream screen layout
- Quality 720p or 1080p
- Preferred codec Η264
- Upload your video using your last name as filename: ict2022-lastname.mp4
How to participate via Microsoft® TEAMS
Authors (except those of Short Talks) will have the possibility to answer the questions live via Microsoft® TEAMS. Poster Presenter will have their own session to present their poster also live via Microsoft® TEAMS.
If you do not already have a Microsoft® TEAMS account, please sign-up for free at the following website to create an account: www.microsoft.com/en-US/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/group-chat-software
You will be invited to download the Microsoft® TEAMS application for Desktop and/or mobile. Alternatively you can also participate just via web browser.

How to record a presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint

- Select Slide Show > Record Slide Show.
- Choose from two options:
- Start Recording from Beginning - to record from the beginning of a presentation.
- Start Recording from Current Slide - to record from a specific slide.
- Select or clear what you'd like for your recording, and then select Start Recording.
- Start speaking or add markings to your presentation.
- Audio does not record during slide transitions. At the start of a slide, be sure to wait a moment before speaking, to allow the slide to fully transition. Likewise, when finished with a slide, when you are done speaking, wait a brief moment before transitioning to the next slide.
Remove recordings
A sound icon appears on a slide to show when a recording is available. You can also remove recordings from slides.
- Select Record Slide Show > Clear.
- Choose from four options: a. Clear Timing on Current Slide - to delete timings on the current slide.
- Clear Timings on All Slides - to delete timings from all slides at once.
- Clear Narration on Current Slide - to delete narration on the current slide.
- Clear Narration on All Slides - to delete narration on all slides at once.
Save recordings
When you're done recording, to save your work, select File > Save As and save as a standard PowerPoint Presentation. Once you are satisfied with your presentation recording, you can save and share your presentation as a Video. Your video will automatically play when someone opens the video file.
- View and confirm the quality of your recording.
- Select File > Save As.
- Select where you'd like to save your recording to.
- Under Save as type, select the dropdown arrow and then select MPEG-4 Video.
- Select Save.
